Structural data of the protein obtains by the X-ray crystal diffraction or NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance), and, in general, is called PDB data. PDB is established with Brookhaven National Laboratory in the abbreviation of Protein Data Bank in 1971, and has been managed in the protein data bank now. It is a genome net and mirror in Japan. The PDB file has recorded an entry name of the alphanumeric character of four characters, a character, a reference journal, the first amino acid array, the second structural information, and the location information of each atom (In this order) when opening it with the text editing software.
